An Atlas To Advance is a one man melodic metal/rock project created by Brian Verderber. It is entirely self-produced, utilizes a Metal based sound, and focuses on solid melodies and various influences from a wide spectrum of genres.
I've been writing and recording music since 2008 and making music means everything to me. I started out as a self-taught guitarist and gradually picked up on other instruments and singing as I got more experience. All of my tracks I write, record, mix, and master myself. I'm influenced by a lot of rock and metal from bands like Van Halen and Iron Maiden to Dark Tranquillity and Tool. Basically anything with great guitar-work I love! That being said I try to create a sound combining all of my influences from acoustic to metal into one style. So if you enjoy anything melodic, mellow, or heavy check it out!
