Founded by Scott M. Rifkin, The Exploration Project currently consists of Matt Posner, Eric Henty, Peter Dragotta, Chris Peters, Hillel Hammer, Cesare Papetti, Harry Weinberg, Richard Graziano,George Mirayans and Alan Alter. We Play mostly experimental,avant garde, spontaneous and unrehearsed music. We have 11 CDs currently out in the market and play live at selective performance spaces mostly in the Manhattan, NYC area. We have played live at Spectrum, The Bowery Poetry Club, The Yippie Cafe and at Funkadelic Studios. We also curate an event called THE EXPLORATION PROJECT'S EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC, ART AND WORD SESSIONS.
