Pt.Naviin Gandharv comes from a family of musicians born in Dewas in Madhya Pradesh, India. Nearly 4 decades ago, Pt. Babulal Gandharv (Naviin's father) invented the 'Belabaharr', a one-of-a-kind unique instrument that merges the principles of Violin , Sarangi and vocal music. Due to his family's influence and musical upbringing, Pt. Naviin has had the privilege to learn the basics of Belabaharr from his father. He is the only artist of the young generation who continues to drive the legacy of an instrument that is not just a gift to the world of music but also the pride of India. In Indian classical music, finding melody and rhythm in one artist can be a rare phenomenon but with time, immense dedication and passion, Pt.
