Welcome to the KPU Virtual Reality Lab! Established in 2019 by Dr. Farhad Dastur with support from Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Creative Capital Fund, our lab is a hub for research, education, and artistic projects. Located at KPU’s Richmond campus in British Columbia, our 30 sq. m space is fully equipped with VR headsets, sensors, 360° cameras, and computers. We invite students, educators, scholars, artists, industry professionals, government bodies, and community groups to collaborate with us and explore the possibilities of AR, VR, and MR extended realities. Our lab is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of diversity, equity, and inclusivity.
