MJ GRIZZ is a Congo Brazzaville–born, Chicago–raised artist with a style he calls “global vibes,” built from Afrobeats, hip-hop, and R&B. He taught himself to record after getting banned from a studio, and that DIY start pushed him into a run that’s earned him 10M+ streams and collaborations with Tory Lanez, Tekno, Twista, Ab-Soul, and G Herbo. He’s a first-generation creative, a new dad, and an artist steadily carving out his own lane.
