Winnipeg's own Cast Iron Potty Band is a Canadian Jug Band . We won’t make you smarter or better-looking, but you will be entertained. The Cast Iron Potty Band consists of Rob Deyman (banjo/mandolin/guitar), Dick Moffat (guitar/vocals), Fred Dawkins (washboard/jug/kazoo/duck call/vocals) and Hugh Malcolmson (washtub bass/elephant): four long-time friends who share a love of jug band music and a willingness to be ridiculous in public. Joining the band for future shows are founder Dave Crowe (various strings), Chris “Junior” Malleck (harp) and special guest Silvia Dee (accordion/vocals).
