The Naples Players (TNP) is a Community Theatre Company founded in 1953. TNP offers over 200 performances each year at TNP's Sugden Theatre at 701 5th Avenue South in Downtown Naples, Florida. We have been named the "Best Live Theatre" in Southwest Florida (including professional theaters) over fifteen times by the readers poll of The Naples Daily News, and consistently ranked as one of the Top Five Community Theatres in the United States. In 2012, Smithsonian Magazine cited us in naming Naples, Florida the Ninth "Best Small Town In America". CNN and Money Magazine cited us in September of 2008 as one of the reasons why Collier County Florida is one of the top five "Best places for a long life in the United States".
