Alconbury Independent Baptist Church is a Bible teaching gospel preaching church. We preach Christ and seek to win the list through evangelism. Our fourfold plan is as follows; A = ADORATION (Worship): We worship Almighty God. We do not worship men or the teaching of men. God instructs us how he ought to be worshiped in Spirit and in truth in holiness and reverence (Psalm 34:8) I = INTERCESSION: We believe there are many aspects to prayer . These include prayer supplication intercession and giving of thanks (1 Tim 2:1-4). Intercession means prayer offered on behalf of others in dependence upon the Holy Spirit (Rom 8:17) We intercede for the lost, for one another, and fellow Christians world wide including our missionaries. B = BELIEVING: We trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Redeemer . We believe the Bible contains many promises of God which applies to us as a church. C = COMPASSIONATE: As Christ has loved us so we care for one-another and those in our community
