DAP The Contract is a Hip-Hop and Afro-Fusion producer/rapper and classically trained pianist from Lagos, Nigeria. The Source magazine labelled his 2014 mixtape GoodBye For Never “the best mixtape of 2014”. A Brown University and Columbia Law School graduate, and licensed intellectual property lawyer, DAP has recorded with Mark Ronson in the world-renowned Abbey Road Studios and performed across continents, most notably in Lagos, London, and New York at venues in each such as Muri Okunola Park, The Saatchi Gallery, and Irving Plaza. DAP has released 9 solo self-produced projects, including the Powers series, visual album EVERYBODY FALLS IN THE SUMMER, and single Fàájì on October 25th, 2024. In 2025, DAP has joined the Sound Logic team as a contract entertainment lawyer, participated as an official artist at SXSW, the Anti-Social Songwriting Camp in New York and Mondo NYC, and Hi-Lo Jack released “Tryna Be Cool”, their final single from their album “Group Project”.
