If you don't know me yet, my name is Rob. I'm a songwriter and a storyteller. I was raised in the Ozark Mountain town of Branson, Missouri, where I developed my love for music and songwriting. Growing up in Branson, you were either drawn to show business and entertainment industry or you ran away from it - I was drawn in. It was Branson that introduced me to Country Music and the works of Andy Williams, Glen Campbell, The Gatlin Brothers, Mel Tillis, and the like. I saw how music drew people in and animated the lives of audiences. Because of that, I try to write songs that connect with and touch the lives of my listeners, from emotion-grabbing soft pop melodies to the honest-to-God lyrical styles of country and folk music. When it comes to musical influences, I tend to take a little of everything. Some of my musical heroes (old and young) include James Taylor, Carole King, Lori McKenna, Steve Moakler, Ben Rector.
