Amsalegenet Yimer was a respected video editor and director who served Ethiopian Television (ETV) for many years. She directed music videos for many well-known Ethiopian artists and worked on several memorable films. She was also the organizer and director of the iconic ETV program “Hibre Triet”, and later produced “Ke Maget Eske Adebabay”, a groundbreaking show focused on empowering women and bringing their talents from the home to the public spotlight. Amsalegenet passed away over ten years ago, but her legacy continues to inspire generations. This YouTube channel is created in her memory, to celebrate her life and honor her contribution to Ethiopian media and storytelling.
