Sorin Zlat is an international award-winning jazz pianist, classical clarinetist, composer, and arranger. With musical influences from Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, and a unique interpretative style, he now holds over 20 national and international awards and is a headliner in many worldwide events sharing the stage with jazz greats Kenny Garett, Branford Marsalis, Ravi Coltrane, Chick Corea, Joey Alexander and many more. Some of Mr. Zlat’s accomplished accolades include: Grand Prize atJacksonville Jazz Piano Competition, Grand Prize and Public Award at Monaco Jazz Competition, Best Band and Public Award at Getxo Jazz Contest Currently, Sorin tours with his trio/quartet in Europe and North America, enjoying numerous concerts in Switzerland, Spain, Israel, Belgium, Turkey, France, Italy, England , Poland, Hungary, Netherlands etc. Recent appearances include: Montreux Jazz festival, Jacksonville Jazz Festival, Ronnies Scott's Jazz Club and many more.
