KrausFrink Two of the best percussionists of their generation and a perfectly coordinated duo – they are Victor Kraus and Martin Frink. The two musicians studied with Isao Nakamura at the University of Music of Karlsruhe. After graduating with honours, they specialized as a chamber music duo with Emmanuel Séjourné at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg. With the creation of KrausFrink Percussion in 2006, they launched an ensemble unique in its kind: an impressive versatility, great musicality, virtuosic technique and an unrestrained desire to play music are the trademarks of the duo. Classical recitals, concerts with orchestra, theatre projects with dance and choreography, the musical rendering of live silent movies are a part of their metier, as well as workshops and master classes.
