My approach is simple: I listen a lot, and I listen at the right level. The aim is to train my ear—becoming attuned to sounds, rhythm, and the way people speak naturally in real life. As I listen, I absorb vocabulary in context, and when necessary, I follow along with the transcript to consolidate spelling, word forms, and authentic usage. I don’t try to memorise grammar as a set of formulas. With enough high-quality input, grammar begins to internalise itself: I develop an intuitive feel for sentence structure, tense patterns, and the way ideas connect—almost reflexively. I replay the same material until it feels genuinely familiar, and that is precisely when speaking starts to emerge: words come more readily, sentences flow more smoothly, and my responses feel increasingly natural. In short, I listen to internalise—so I can speak with ease.
