X-Camera: An Experimental Learning Circle is a weekly lecture series by artists for artists. It began in the Spring of 2019 when a group of people interested in the arts began gathering at Fresh Ground Café/Commons Studio in Downtown Kitchener every Friday afternoon to hear a lecture by an interdisciplinary artist or professional. The lectures were followed by a time for people to stay in the café space, eat lunch together, continue conversations and build a community. This happened every Friday afternoon until March 2020 when these gatherings shifted online. It's in this spirit of supporting artists and building community that these recordings have been made available here. X-Camera is an Inter Arts Matrix project and is made possible by support from the Ontario Arts Council, the City of Waterloo, the City of Kitchener, and the City of Cambridge.
