JMDark Ambient started as a personal experiment—creating sounds to help me concentrate, read, write, or get into a specific mood. I realized these atmospheres might also help others, so this channel became a space to share them, as well as a way to give shape to dark concepts, ideas, and subtly insinuated stories. Some concepts I attempt to shape or inspire here (with a bit of pretension) are: cinematic dark ambient, cosmic horror, dystopian ruins, analog unease, industrial decay, and the soundscapes of worlds falling silent—and of others that no longer feel human.
