WynterCon, now in its 11th year, is an award-winning comic-con style event organised by Promethean Promotions Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of Sky Creative Sussex, Charity number 1178076). ​ The event is regarded as one of the biggest family-friendly events on the South Coast and is part of the local calendar. The event's purpose is to generate funds for and awareness of the charity's activities and workshops, which run throughout the year. ​The WynterCon event has a Comic and Sci-fi theme. It features exhibitors, artists, actors and authors alongside props and photo opportunities from the world of film and TV. In addition to raising funds for the charity, the event plays host to a showcase of free interactive workshops provided by Sky Creative Sussex. " It doesn't matter what world you come from, you're welcome in ours. "
