The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Commission to Build a Healthier America is a national, independent, non-partisan group of leaders that came together to examine the many factors outside of medical care that influence health. The Commission researched and reviewed evidence, collected new data and listened to experts, leaders and citizens around the country. After a year-long investigation, the Commission identified a range of successful ways to improve health at the local, state and federal levels - practical, feasible and effective solutions often hiding in plain sight.
