The Marine Mammal Center advances global ocean conservation through rescue and rehabilitation, scientific research, and education. This channel shares livestream video from Point Reyes National Seashore where our team frequently releases marine mammal patients back to their ocean home. This location is also a seasonal haul-out site for elephant seals between December and June.
The livestream can be viewed at any time, but when you text RELEASE to 65179 you’ll get a notification when a patient release that’s visible from our webcam is about to start as well as other messages with marine mammal stories, news and more.
