WIH offers leisure learning classes for adults, in person and online, on a wide variety of subjects including the arts, current events, literature, and history. All classes are taught by university professors and recognized leaders in their fields. WIH is open to all and has enriched the lives of thousands of men and women in Houston and beyond since its founding in 1951. Our community of lifelong learners also enjoys the social aspect of taking classes - meeting others who share their interest in certain topics. Most classes are simulcast via zoom and recorded (if socializing isn’t for you).
