Electronic producer, composer, and DJ Jonathan Alexander Hurtado was born in Fresno, California in 2001 and raised on an orchard until moving to Southern California to study music at the age of 17. Prior to learning the jazz and R&B piano regiments in college, Jonathan had already mastered classical composition and electronic scoring. His music has evolved into a deconstructed staple of each genre, blending hip hop, electronic dance, and classical themes into one sound and performed in venues such as the Riverside Fox Theater and the 626 Night Market in Irvine. Jonathan has since relocated to Sacramento in Northern California where he continues to expand his genre-bending music production and live performance abilities by primarily using synthesizing and drum machine hardware for the foundation of his live sets. Ultimately using each module as its own instrument in the symphony of sound that is The Shadow Party.
