Vishwavani is one of the oldest newspapers in Kannada, It was started by the a well known Kannada writer, journalist and Pro activist Sri. Patil Puttappa during 1956 as a regional newspaper and it was played an important role in the frontier fights, which was later taken over by renowned journalist Mr. Vishweshwar Bhat and re launched as a state newspaper with 6 editions.
Vishwavani’s main attractions are its columns from well known columnists, crispy news, relevant analysis, attractive photographs presented indicatively with good layouts, designs and also includes unique supplements which are V+, Gazeteer, Vivah, Cinemas, Yatra and Virama.
