This channel presents the music of Composer/Guitarist Matthew Baier from his annual "A Recital of Original Compositions by Matthew Baier" that appeared each Fall from November 1999 through to November 2017. (18 Years) The selections are being shown in reverse order from more recent videos (2017 - 2013) to audio with (occasionally) added video (2012 to 1999). The project is nearly 1/4 completed. The program was initially held at "St. Paul's Festival of the Arts" at St. Paul's Methodist Church, in South Nyack, N.Y. and later at the First Reformed Church of Nyack and Grace Episcopal Church, Nyack. It featured a dedicated group of regular performers and hosted returning audience members each year. The works employ small chamber ensembles in a variety of contemporary compositional idioms many featuring voice on texts from poetry, literature and religion. The music is offered for non-profit solely for the intent of promoting an appreciation of the Arts therein.
