Papers Past is all about bringing history back to life through the pages of the old newspapers of the times, illustrated with contemporary cartoons and prints. Whether this is through first-hand accounts of battles or reports from people who were actually living at the time, or outrageous ads trying to push some highly dubious quack medicine, they all serve to give us the true flavour and reality of lives and opinions at a time very different from our own.
