Scorpié is a composer//studio musician based in Adelaide, South Australia. Though a seasoned performer with pop and musical theatre influences, Scorpié now finds the studio her preferred environment in which to thrive and focus. Expertise with studio equipment in general and DAW software in particular enables Scorpié to further enhance her range of styles. Driven by diversity, both Scorpié and her music do not conform to a specific genre. Scorpié tracks experiment with alternative and theatrical pop but with an emotional vocal delivery. Both she and her music are animated. Scorpié collaborates with fellow Adelaide musicians whilst working on her own material designed for more interstate-based partnerships. Earlier in 2017, the Scorpié/Conor Deery penned, “Broken Love”, was selected for the Nexus Production Group film: "Friends, Foes & Fireworks”. Directed by Ivan Malekin, this debut was featured in the Made in Melbourne Film Festival, Australia.
