Amanda Cook
Now celebrating her 11th year leading The Amanda Cook Band, Amanda Cook has carved a lasting place in today’s bluegrass landscape. Originally from Jay, Florida, her love for bluegrass was first sparked by her father, with whom she performed in a family band during the mid-2000s. Known for her warm, down-to-earth presence, compelling stage connection, and distinctive vocal tone, Cook quickly captured the hearts of bluegrass audiences nationwide.
Driven by a passion to record and tour professionally, Cook relocated to the Mountains of Virginia, where she not only signed a five-album contract with Mountain Fever Records but also joined the label’s team as a studio engineer and a few years later became Chief Operating Officer.
The band’s fifth studio album, Restless Soul, was released on October 18, 2024. Its singles have enjoyed widespread success, earning heavy rotation on SiriusXM Bluegrass Junction and consistent placement on the Bluegrass Today charts.
