Fishboy Animation is an independent animation studio that was founded by filmmakers Alex Z. Avila and Carlo Padilla. Our animated short film, "The Apricot", won Best Animated Short Film at the New York International Film Festival (Oscar-qualifying), Best Animated Short for Kids at the Portland Festival of Cinema, Animation & Technology, and Honorable Mention for Best Animated Short at the Cleveland International Film Festival. We are currently in development on our next animated short film, "Crimson Tears".
