Music from the band 'The Blases', a local New Jersey band formed in the late seventies by Rob Wagner, Bill Donahue and Paul 'Rock' Verdon playing various locations throughout New Jersey. In 1981, George Decker joined the group on drums, and soon after, the group released their first single Playing All Night Long and was featured in the Paul Devlin documentary 'Rockin Brunswick'. The group went on to film a video for their next single, You Don't Know Me, and was selected to premiere on the MTV Basement Tapes in 1985. Original Bassist Paul 'Rock' Verdon was killed shortly before the premier of the video in 1985, and after a short hiatus, the band reformed with long time friend Billy Sheils. They continued playing together for a number of years until this line-up disbanded in the late 80's. Members of the Blases included Rob Wagner, Guitar/vocals, Bill Donahue, Keyboards / Vocals, Paul 'Rock' Verdon Bass / Vocals, George Decker, Drums, Billy Sheils, Bass / Vocals.
