The intention and purpose of this channel are to create a virtual library in which we can share information, wisdom, experiences, and more about contemporary shamanic practice. The Shamanic Community of Austin channel is an outreach of the Shamanic Community of Austin, LLC, and an outgrowth of the Shamanic Community Meetup (www.Meetup.com/austinshamanism) group. Shamanism is not a religion, per se. It is a worldview, a way of perceiving the experience of life as sacred. Everything is alive, and all beings are sacred and hold any particular wisdom. Spirit is always speaking, and when we learn to listen we, too, become wise.
