LUFEH is a Los Angeles-based progressive rock/metal band led by Brazilian drummer Lufeh Batera, bringing together Brazilian and American musicians with deep roots in rock, metal, fusion, and progressive music. The band’s new album, OVERWHELMED, marks a new chapter for LUFEH — heavier, more emotional, more cinematic, and more mature. Recorded at the legendary Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles, the album features Ginny Luke on vocals and violin, alongside Duca Tambasco on bass, Deio Tambasco on guitar, Gera Penna on keyboards/production, and Lufeh Batera on drums. With songs that move between technical progressive passages, powerful melodies, heavy grooves, and emotional storytelling, LUFEH’s sound connects the intensity of progressive metal with the musicality and soul of Brazilian musicianship.
