Uptown Consortium, Inc. (UCI) is a nonprofit community development corporation dedicated to Uptown Cincinnati. UCI brings local neighborhood, civic and institutional leaders together to focus on opportunities in transportation, safety, economic development, community inclusion and more. Members of the organization include Uptown Cincinnati’s largest employers and the area’s leading tourist attraction: Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, UC Health, TriHealth, the University of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. It’s estimated that Uptown, which includes the communities of Avondale, Clifton, Corryville, CUF and Mt. Auburn, has an estimated 46,000 residents and 1,000 businesses employing over 90,000 individuals. To date, the Consortium's efforts have facilitated $1.4 billion in development projects (redevelopment, new construction, and neighborhood improvements) in Uptown Cincinnati, inducing over $2.4 billion in total project investments throughout Uptown.
