History and development of Islamic Architecture is a course taught by Assoc. prof. Dr. Nangkula Utaberta at Faculty of Design and Architecture, UPM. The course covers the concepts of Islamic Architecture that influence the architectural characteristics of an Islamic community such as the geography, cultural lifestyle, local building resources and the construction technology.Indirectly, it promotes the students to deepen the understanding of history and development of Islamic Architecture from past to present time. The subject also encourages the learners to practice interactive learning approach by making short video which is more interesting and effective way of learning.
