Music Arts Collective is an assembly of kindred spirits dedicated to enhancing the well-being of people through engagement in the arts, with music at its heart. We value inclusion, creativity and imagination. Our approach to pedagogy is contemporary and diverse, while remaining rooted in traditions.
Founded by award-winning musicians/educators Jodi Proznick and Amanda Tosoff and their behind-the-scenes partner Francesca Fung, Music Arts Collective offered high-quality and accessible courses, online workshops, videos, conversations, tutorials and more during the pandemic.
The collaboration transformed into the @OstaraProject - a collective assembly that includes Allison Au and Rachel Therrien and boasts an impressive discography of over 20 albums and a remarkable tally of 9 JUNO nominations, 3 Montreal Jazz Festival Grand Prix awards, Western Canadian Music Awards and a multitude of other accolades. www.ostaraproject.ca
