Hailing from Northern California, Julia Rose Segal grew up training in classical piano before she realized that her heart was elsewhere: the worlds of jazz, pop, and folk. Now, she blends these 3 genres into her music, and her choral background comes through in her use of harmonic layering and her silky, floating vocals. By day, she is a student at Stanford University!
