Hailing from Guwahati, Assam, O Daapun is a band formed by Siddhartha Hazarika and Bhargav Hazarika. Comprising three members (Siddhartha Hazarika, Bhargav Hazarika and Mitul Boro), O Daapun's music is characterized by smooth variations and catchy vocal melodies, earning them a reputation as an experimental-pop act. O Daapun was formed in the beginning of 2020. Their songs have gained admiration from listeners nationwide and have been featured in renowned magazines and press such as Rolling Stone, RSJ, The Score Magazine, Time 8, Morung Express, just to name a few. They have also been awarded as the "Most Promising Artist" at the MG Music Awards in 2022 and played at The Hornbill Music Festival, the same year. This is one of their most notable accolades.
