Hello Everyone! My name is Kevin, I am a drummer, drum teacher, and lover of music. I am turning 65, and have been playing the drums for over 50 years. My drum channel is primarily devoted to creating drum covers of some amazing songs by my favorite drummers and their bands. The idea for these videos started back when we were going to go online only, and I wanted to make it possible for my drum students to see all the songs we were currently working on in the lessons. The goal of the cover videos is to show how any professional drummer's playing styles can be heard, enjoyed, studied and absorbed, to slightly modify a track within a song to then be replayed in a way that reflects our own creative style of playing- kind of re-writing the drum parts in a way that hopefully still makes the song sound great, without the showing off and solo's that don't have anything to do with the song- It's all about the music, the bands, and the heart message of the original creator. 🥰 Luv, Kev.
