JDC Central unites over 400 business students from across central and eastern Canada for an exhilarating three-day competition featuring consulting-style academic case challenges, charity fundraising, parliamentary-style debates, sports tournaments, and both social and improv activities. Established in 2007, JDC Central stands as one of Canada's premier business competitions alongside JDC and JDC West. The name JDC stands for Jeux de Commerce which comes from the original competition hosted in Quebec in 1989 and translates to the “Business Games”. The ultimate goal? Their ultimate goal is to excel in every aspect of the competition and secure the prestigious School of the Year award! The Canadian Association of Business Students (CABS) is a not-for-profit organization that represents over 25 universities in Canada. Our purpose is simple; to develop superior talent and leadership within business students across Canada.
