Welcome to my YouTube channel and thank you for your interest. I began posting these surgical videos to share both the pearls I’ve learn and adopted from others and tricks I’ve developed as original techniques for both routine and challenging cases with ophthalmic surgeons. In particular, I hope you learn to appreciate the power of an approach I developed called manual fracturing. I published in the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery both the Double Chop technique which fractures the endonucleus in half, and the Cross Chop technique which bisects the contralateral heminucleus in half. These techniques utilize no ultrasonic energy or vacuum, using pure mechanical fracturing. I hope these narrated videos will help your surgical skill, so you can be the best for your patients.
