BLACKMANTIS debut album Devil’s Flower will be available on all streaming platforms from 6th of April with a limited edition Vinyl release on 1st June. BLACKMANTIS is the latest project from Cardiff based producer Deri Roberts, possibly best known for being one-third of Slowly Rolling Camera. This new album sees him delve into his darker electronic side fusing together his love for sound sculpture, electronica, and jazz, the result is an exciting, ever-changing sound world, taking you on a sonic journey into the unknown full of twists and turns. This album Devil’s Flower sees Deri collaborating with Bristol based Ben Waghorn on saxophone (Portishead, Kasabian, Goldfrapp), and one of his oldest musical collaborators Elliot Bennett on drums. Bennett and Roberts met while studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and have worked together on numerous musical projects since. Jon Goode (Kosheen) on Bass and Mark Sambell on keys.
