Smilin' Buddha Joe's "21st Century Swing" program began in 1997 on WWDB 96.5FM Radio (10,000 watts) and broadcast live from the legendary Sid Mark's Studio in Bala Cynwyd/Philadelphia. "21st Century Swing" would host live broadcast dance parties in the areas finest night clubs, including The Five Spot, The Bank, KatManDu, and New York City's Cache and Supper Club. Beginning as a DJ on WIXQ-FM, and WFNM-FM, with now over 40 years of DJing experience, DJ Smilin' Buddha Joe has spun the finest music that spans the 20th Century. He went on to produce "21st Century Swing" on Philadelphia's WWDB 96.5FM Radio. Joe also booked and promoted bands in the area, as well as wrote record reviews for Atomic Magazine, Port Halcyon Magazine, and RetroSpective Magazine.
