Locally known as the "Wee Church on the Walls" St. Augustine's is located on a unique and historic site inside the city walls. On this site in c 546 AD Saint Columba founded a monastery close to where the present St. Augustine's Church now stands. As this is the run up to the 1500th anniversary for Saint Columba we are looking forward to the celebrations on the 9th June 2020.
