University of Cyprus - Electrical and Computer Engineering Department The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) was established in 2001. In a relatively short period of time, we have managed to establish high quality research, teaching and outreach activities. We currently have 19 full-time academic staff and approximately 100 postgraduate and 300 undergraduate students. We offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs of study in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. The Department has strong and well-funded research programs in several areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Our goal is to create a productive environment, where high quality research and teaching takes place. Our ethos is to aspire to excellence, and our students are a vital part of this.
