The Wichita Animal Action League, or WAAL, is a volunteer-based, licensed rescue and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created in November 2013 to advocate for all abused, neglected and abandoned animals in the Wichita, Kansas area. WAAL is an action oriented group dedicated to rescuing animals in crisis. Services: Emergency rescue Foster/adoption Trap/neuter/return of feral cat colonies Transport chains to other rescues around Kansas Respond to abuse/neglect complaints Educate pet owners and donate supplies WAAL fills the gap where city/county agencies are often constrained by lack of resources.
