The Michaelian Military Band was formed during the directorate of Brother Patrick O' Carroll Donovan in 1960. Since its establishment, the Band has earned a high reputation for being one of the best-organized bands in the state. The band has always had a tremendous impact on the spirit and morale of Michaelians, past and present. Its presence at school assemblies, school functions has never failed to lift the spirit of our students to a high pitch of togetherness in action. It is one of the standard bearers of our alma mater. All Michaelians and citizens would want to see them attired and equipped in a style befitting the dignity of our beloved St. Michaels Institution.
