But doesn't consider Taoism a religion because this philosophy doesn't really seem to have hardly any beliefs that pertain to the supernatural world. Look up the definition of Religion. The main definition is beliefs that pertain to the supernatural world. Taoism is more grounded in the natural world. It also tend to actually free people from suffering instead of cause it like most religions do. Which brings me to say a little about Buddhism. Buddhism is a religion because it does have some beliefs that pertain to the supernatural world such as reincarnation for example. But Buddhism is still respected here because the goal in Buddhism is to transcend suffering in this lifetime.
