Joel Gilardini is an experimental guitarist, sound designer and composer, based in Zurich (Switzerland). Known for his live ambient sets as an opening act for Nik Bärtsch’s Ronin (ECM) in Zurich’s clubs, beside being the mastermind behind the experimental-metal act The Land Of The Snow and part of the noise-industrial duos Mulo Muto and Psychic Drones. Joel works as a composer and sound designer for film, theater, dance, and game audio. From 2022 to 2025, he attended the Master of Arts in Sound Design at University of Arts Zurich (ZHdK), with focus on sound production and manipulation for immersive, interactive and linear medias.
