DAKOTA is a five-piece metalcore band hailing from Santa Rosa, CA. Founding members Leo Callagy (drums), Brandon Campbell (guitar), and Jan Pechbrenner (bass) worked on a project for two years before creating what would later become DAKOTA. After completing the lineup with Michael Tishler (guitar) and front man Harley Stears over the summer, the band made its debut concert appearance as main support for This or The Apocalypse in late October, 2012. DAKOTA recorded the Legacy EP with Nick Botelho of NB Recording, released May 21, 2013.
