Owner of a powerful and captivating voice, Aurea took Portugal by storm with her debut single, Busy (For Me), included in her self-titled debut album Aurea has a world class voice and her music also knows no boundaries whatsoever. Aurea's singing talent is inborn, truly a gift reserved only for few special people. Aurea studied Drama at the University of Evora, and this triggered her choice to pursue a musical career. Rui Ribeiro, also a musical student at the University, wrote the lyrics for all 9 original songs on Aurea's record which has a pop/soul feel but also several other musical genres. Just like Aurea, this record is also musically eclectic. The album was produced by João Matos, Ricardo Ferreira and Rui Ribeiro. Ferreira and Rui Ribeiro also collaborated as musical directors Busy (For Me) sets the tone in this album and boasts a cool, contagious and eclectic sound with Aurea's voice as its biggest asset.
