This is the official channel of the Syrian heavy metal band The Hourglass. Formed in 2003. Released 2 full length albums and 1 EP and a new single with Jon Oliva and Zak Stevens as guest vocals www.facebook.com/thehourglass.syria www.reverbnation.com/thehourglassband ALBUMS AVAILABLE ON iTunes - The band released three albums since they started, The debut album was To the Land Of The Free releases in (2004) The second album released was Resurrection Of The Horrid Dream (2007) In 2010 we released an EP called Ancient Hope - The band took an official approval from Loreena's management to cover the song - The band was reviewed and interviewed by many metal magazines and websites such as: Metal Hammer, Metallian, Metal Observer and Metal Storm...etc. - The band opened for Moonspell and Katatonia in Beirut, Lebanon in the Summer of 2011 - The band was supposed to open the show for Jon Oliva's Pain in Dubai on the 26th of June, 2012,
