Link the Tribes is a Native photographer turned storyteller who’s been on the powwow trail most of his life—camera in hand, always moving. What started as still images slowly turned into motion, and somewhere along the way, the stories turned into vlogs. This channel lives in that in-between space: tradition and modern life, documenting versus participating, being present while still pressing record. I’m learning that preserving culture doesn’t always look clean or perfect—and that’s okay. Sometimes the best stories come from the awkward pauses, missed shots, and conversations that weren’t meant for an audience. I’m new to the YouTube world, figuring it out as I go, and occasionally questioning whether a moment should be filmed or simply lived. This channel isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about the journey, the humor, the contradictions, and the responsibility that comes with sharing Native stories in a digital space.
